Happy 4th of July!
Can you believe it’s already the 4th of July?! Where did the first half of the year go? I thought it would be the perfect time to provide a little life update and share some very exciting news.
I spent yesterday celebrating the 3rd of July the only way you can in my small town, by watching the Pots and Pans Parade at midnight. Yes, I said midnight. Yes, I said pots and pans. We enjoyed some lobster and steamers, swimming, a fire, s’mores and then walked down to the one and only parade at midnight with every fire truck from the surrounding towns. Oh, and people actually bang on pots and pans.

Life Update
As most of you already know, I recently graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in May. I took a couple weeks to enjoy the feeling of no homework and then started the tedious work of applying to jobs. In the month of June, I applied to a total of 18 jobs. I’m currently working full-time so I was able to be a little picky at what I was looking for. If you haven’t been on the search for a new job in awhile, it’s a lot of work and can take up to 30 minutes to an hour to apply to one job.
I am excited to announce, this week I accepted the offer as a social media specialist in Boston! Right?!? This is exactly the kind of job that I dreamed of doing when I started working towards my bachelors degree in marketing. I’m excited and nervous all at the same time! I’m excited to be finally starting my career in something that I am very passionate about. Of course, I’m nervous about tackling the city of Boston and all the adjustments that come with a new job. It makes my heart so happy that Kyle and I get to do all of this together.
Boston Bound
With this life update, also comes the exciting time of Kyle and I finding our own place together and finally ditching the one hour commute to see each other. It’s been a long two years and something we have both worked so hard towards. Oh, and Happy (early) Birthday babe! I love you more than you will ever know and can’t wait to celebrate YOU this weekend!
I wanted to keep this one short and sweet.
Beau wishes everyone a Happy 4th of July! Unfortunately for Beau, he didn’t get to enjoy our lobster and steamer feast but we didn’t want him to feel left out so we made sure he got a lobster bib too!

Sincerely Bianca saysYay!! That is exciting about the new job & moving!! I recently moved, so I am going through the process of applying to a million different jobs. I know that the right one will come when it’s time, but I totally understand the feeling of searching and applying. Good luck to finding a place! 🙂

Samantha Marie saysThanks girls! Isn’t it crazy how much work it takes just to apply to one job?! Keep up with it, I promise it will pay off. I highly recommend checking out Indeed and Glassdoor!
